Lesson 1: Never question the sun's absence
I was away at Sentosa yesterday (from 9am-6+pm) to do filming of my hall's pageant contestants. wah shag, coz I slept at 4am the same morning as we were doing up the filming schedule. ah.. dun be too excited yet, I wasn't wearing a bikini and posing for the camera. :P
I was the one sitting in a chair under the umbrella, wearing cool shades and holding a loudhailer.(haha, no I did not had that but in short, I was directing it)
We met another group of people there, also filming pageant contestants. Maybe they're from Miss Singapore or something, I don't know.
The day started off with a cloudy morning, without any visible signs of our dear sun(needless to say, I wasn't using any sunblock lotion). Thinking that I would be in need of sunglasses, I brought them along. And I was complaining about the lack of sun to my frdz and questioning its absence. (partly becoz I wanna make use of my shades & also becoz we could use brighter conditions for better footages)
Good heavens, after a while, the sun heard me and began its job. Slowly, I was being roasted and cooked till I became RED. not pink or just sunburnt but RED. (and itchy and painful)
I became from a normal-coloured AL to this:
So yes, Lesson 1: Never question the sun's absence.
Other than that, the day went well and we ended our work earlier than scheduled. It was a new & fun experience as it's our first time doing such directing and filming for a Miss universe type of clip. Interesting day.
